Personal
Marriage
Marriage will not always make you happy, but it will do something even better. It will give you an opportunity to find happiness in peace, in letting go, in learning what’s worth fighting for, in figuring out how to love an imperfect person, in seeing what commitment is and what compromise feels like.
8 Hours Sleep
I have been working on a night shift for last five years. And sleeping during daytime is not as relaxing as we sleep at night. But to my surprise, I slept continuous 8 hours in last two days (it rarely happens)! and it was really kinda achievement for me. Very much relaxing and refreshing! After a very long time, I got this much long sleep (without any interruption).
Night Shifts and My Team
I’ve been working in night shifts for past 4.5 years and looks like now I’ve become habitual. I don’t feel sleepy during night (If I have got good sleep during my daytime).
Difficult Decision
Firing/Letting someone go is one of the most difficult decisions for management. Today I sent a goodbye email to one of our developers. I tried to be very much polite and positive and also explained about the reason of this difficult decision.
When You Realize You need a break
After reading that blog post, I realized that breaks are so very much important in life. And the very fact you should learn how to say no in life, politely though. It has been more than three years since I went out for a long vacation or a sabbatical for that matter.

A Feeling of Happiness
In last 30 days, I handled two shopify projects. It was awesome experience working on shopify again. I must say Timber framework is awesome. Also I was able to complete this projects in budgeted hours and was able to launch these projects on scheduled due date. Feeling Awesome 🙂
Life
Life is going so fast. It feels like there are so many things to do: Project priorities, study, learning, career, etc,. But when you stop, think and close your eyes, give yourself a break to think just about yourself, your inner happiness, the real life, emotions, something strangely hits you and you begin to wonder if you are missing so much in this busy life.
What I am doing these days...
These days, I am working for more than 10 hours. I am actually enjoying this. I have been doing development, helping our PPC team with shopping feeds, providing training to our new team members, handling project management, and researching ways to improve our development processes. Work is fun !!! I love it.
"It started with a friend request"
A few weeks ago, I finished reading a book – “It started with a friend request” by Sudeep Nagarkar. Before purchasing this book, I had read its summary and reviews on amazon.in. I thought it would be little similar to my life. But well, it was totally different :). However, I ended up enjoying this book. It was the first time when I picked up a love story to read. Mostly, I read biographies, technical and management books.
Web Development (The Learning Days)
After my high school got over, I had two months of holidays because generally colleges starts in mid of June (and all my all exams were over by April). So I started going to my uncle’s office. Zanetine was started by my uncle, Gurinder Singh, which later went on to collaborate with Navdeep Singh. I joined Zanetine as a junior team member, and now we were a team of three members.
School Days
I really enjoyed my school days. I completed my matriculation from DAV School and secondary education from Town Hall. I took physics, mathematics, chemistry and computer science as my major subjects. I really loved (and still love) mathematics though I wasnt very good at it. I really loved computer science and physics. I always hated Organic Chemistry ugh. I used to attend online video lectures from MIT OCW, IIT, Yale Univeristy etc. Really awesome time.
